Puffins And Other Sea Birds
Puffins have recently been added to the endangered species list, I feel very lucky to be able to visit Skomer every summer. This colony is one of the few that is thriving, being on an island there are fewer predators, no rats or other egg stealing mammals, which must help. There are many other factors involved in their continued increasing population and studies may benefit other colonies and stop numbers falling any further.
